When my husband and I got married, it was super important to us that we had a relationship with the photographer where we shared things in common and is relaxed, patient and understood us as a couple. So, when it came to the day, we can just enjoy the experience. And for my couples, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s just as important for me as it is for you that we are a good match. So, when it comes to the big day, it’s like we’ve known each other for ages to the point you’ve forgotten I’m taking photos of you, being you.

Unless you are drunk, the normal reflex action of a human where there is camera pointing your direction is that you instantly put your guard up to the point it doesn’t become natural anymore. I’m one to mingle with your friends and family so I’m not a stranger to anybody and they can feel relaxed.

Being a wedding videographer and photographer, I’ve had the privileged position to have seen a variety of what works and what doesn’t. I feel it its important for my couples to enjoy their day because no doubt you would of heard how quick it whizzes by. 10 minutes of you on your own is ample time to get those beautiful natural portrait shots of you both.

Some couples love candid photography through and through, whilst some may want to be a little more adventurous or perhaps you are in the middle and would love just a few natural portraits to stick up on that living room wall. Either way, whatever works for you will work for me.
